As the Harvest service draws ever closer, we are thoroughly involved in perfecting our songs, readings and prayers. This week, we have been focusing on the musical rudiments that make up the base of all things Music – not only have we been considering Pitch, Rhythm, Timbre and Texture, but also thinking about the bigger picture, and how music can shape our lives for the better. Learning Music is not just about enabling children to stand up and perform, but also about the foundations on which they can grow.
