Join the Springmead adventure… Calling all Nursery Leaders and Practitioners
Springmead School and Nursery is a small, vibrant independent school serving a beautiful rural village community, near Frome. We are entirely committed to supporting children to be confident, curious learners and offer each child rich extra-curricular experiences – we have been recognised for this in national awards.
Our small, highly successful nursery is expanding to move to a 50 week provision and we are looking for a playdough making Nursery Manager to bring their magic to lead our beautiful ‘Excellent in all areas’ nursery. Alongside this role we are looking a Nursery practitioner to join our team.
You will be playful, a communicator, a mathematician, a scientist, a thinker and a dreamer who can support our youngest children in their first steps on their learning adventure here at Springmead. You will be inspired and amazed by their interests, their insights, their friendships, feel proud as they develop and learn in a stunning setting that you will be leading with a team of inspirational members. You believe in strong parent partnerships and work hard to build these.
You will plan for explosions of learning in the Nursery class, organising and creating ideas to help children achieve milestones, delighting in the achievements of every single child. You will be part of a supportive network of colleagues who act with one mind: to create a strong team that seeks out new and old ways of working to provide rich experiences for the children in our care.
We can offer you:
School visits are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school and ask to speak to Shirley Offer, deputy headteacher, to discuss the role further, arrange an appointment and request an application pack. Please do not send a CV
