Our Early Years children are very proud – they are finalists in the ISA National Awards!
The nursery and reception classes at Springmead School and Nursery, Beckington, nr. Frome, Somerset have been shortlisted for the prestigious national Independent School Award for Excellence and Innovation 2022. One example is due to the remarkable work that the Nursery and Reception classes achieved for their drama, storytelling and filmmaking. This was shown on the BBC regional news late last year. Their methods, innovating ways to share with parents the work that they do, can be seen on their You Tube channel, offering a bird’s eye view of children’s first hand experiences in these classes as well as feature films.
Our Early Years team work tirelessly to keep children’s needs front and centre, combining sound pedagogic knowledge with a sense of relevance and up-to-date thinking and practice.
