School starts at 8:30am, however, parents can drop children off from 8:00am in the knowledge that care is provided by by the Springmead teachers.
For families who require cover to the end of the working day, Springmead offers after-school care to 6.00pm. Whether your child chooses the planned activities provided by the teacher or prefers to read, watch a video, play a game or just catch up with friends you are safe in the knowledge that you will only pay for the cover you use making this facility a cost effective option.
Children staying to be collected after 3.30pm, are served high tea at 4pm.
Holiday clubs are offered throughout the school holidays, extending cover beyond term time to 51 weeks per year. Themed activities are carefully planned to give stimulation, excitement, relaxation and variety to the children beyond the usual school day. A packed lunch is provided by parents.
Places at the holiday club are offered to pupils attending Springmead School first and then on a ‘fill-up’ basis to other children.
Children staying past 3.30pm will need a packed tea.
Please see our current fees sheet for holiday club costs.
Around 30 Extra Mural Clubs are available for Springmead pupils to choose from each term, operating at lunch time and after school. The school curriculum is richly extended by the academic, sporting, language, art, drama and musical activities provided within the extra-mural clubs.
