A team of 5 Springmead swimmers: Jacob Humphrey, Emily Finch, William Foster, Tom Taylor and Lizzie Finch then dashed up the motorway to the English Schools Swimming Association Primary School Championship at Pond’s Forge, Sheffield where they had qualified for the national relay finals for the second year in succession.
A very exciting day saw the Springmead swimmers qualify through the heats and take part in the final of the freestyle relay.
