Useful Information for Parents:
The School Day
The school day is 8.30am to 3.30pm. There is a mid-morning break and lunchtime is from 12.00 to 1.30 pm to allow for plenty of extra-mural clubs and activities. Children can be dropped off from 8.00 a.m. and can be cared for in our after school club until 6.00 p.m. Extra-mural clubs also operate at the end of the school day from 3.30 p.m to 4.30 p.m.
Social Events
Springmead has a Social Committee run by committed staff and parents that organise a number of family events and parent events each year. For families we have organised story telling, torch lit night walks, egg rolling and camping weekends. For the parents we have enjoyed meals out, quiz nights, golfing days, disco’s, cocktail party, mountain hikes, soccer matches and so on.
