A welcome to Springmead Independent School from the Principals

Since opening in 2002, as Co-Principals, we have seen the school grow from strength to strength.  From starting with just four children we currently have over a hundred. The school is now entering its most exciting phase yet, with the recent addition of a playing field and many more extra-mural clubs and enrichment activities. Our children are leaving the school in Year 6, having passed entrance exams to the best local independent schools. Importantly these children are fulfilled, they have a strong sense of self-worth and have begun to develop a life long love of learning in their time with us. This is the realisation of a dream: to inspire children to achieve their full potential.

Springmead School provides a safe and happy learning environment where respect, patience, self-discipline, tolerance and a joy for learning are given high priority. It is our job to help to shape our youngsters’ characters so that they become fulfilled learners with positive self-esteem and a passion for life and learning. At Springmead School we educate the whole child.  We believe that a first class education involves every aspect of a child’s development and that a child’s self-esteem is vital to their willingness to learn.  By providing an inspirational, caring environment, along with a strong academic focus, we aim to provide children with the opportunity to achieve their potential.

We warmly invite you to visit us at the school where one of us will meet with you personally. The tour and interview will last approximately one hour. Whilst this website will give you a flavour of Springmead School there is no substitute for a visit. Our administrator, Emma Hardy will be happy to organise an appointment at your convenience.
